I cannot say enough good things about Darren! Being first-time homebuyers, we were very nervous beginning this process. As soon as we met Darren, he eased our mind and made us feel that we were in good hands. In every house we viewed with him, he paid attention to little details throughout and brought up anything that was concerning or that would be issues for us down the road in the home. He guided us the best he could and walked us through all the paperwork and home-buying lingo that was all new to us. During every step of the process, he gave his honest opinion and truly looked out for our best interest and what would fit our life. His line of communication was always open, whether we had a question, or he had updates to give us, he was always very prompt. His knowledge of not only the home buying process but also his knowledge of material details of homes makes us VERY happy we had him on our side during our home purchase. It was a big celebration at closing for us all!

Well, it's a long story but being we have the same name, even phonetically I knew he was the realtor for me....we had been through several showings, multiple bids, almost winning a bid that I had to pull out of at the last minute...even the house I did win(and almost lost) he was nothing Short of awesome! But I wouldn't say it was all sunshine...it took a few months to get the house that was right for me....he would put in suggestions...and would bite his tongue when dealing with other agents, just so I could hopefully win a bid I really wanted....I will definitely be giving him my recommendation any time anyone asks me for a referral....and will definitely use him should I get the notion to sell!

Darren was and is the best realtor I have ever worked with. I believe that I have no better compliment than that.

Darren will ALWAYS put the interests of his clients before his own. We know this first-hand. Our son was tragically killed in a car accident 10 years ago. Darren was Woods's insurance agent, but he was so much more. Darren attended a special event honoring our son's life and he has remembered anniversaries, he has kept in touch -- he has cared. From a business perspective , it was not necessary that Darren did all he did, but he went the extra mile. Darren received no extra compensation for this -it is just who he is. My husband thought very highly of Darren in the context of their business relationship. I had never met Darren until after the accident. We now consider Darren a cherished friend. Many of the same skills that are needed to be an exceptional insurance agent are the same ones that are needed to be an outstanding realtor. Darren is knowledgeable, he is professional , and he shows great attention to detail. Buying or selling , he would be your greatest advocate. If we could give Darren a six star rating , we would! As an aside, my sister was the top realtor in the Charlottesville,Virginia area two years ago. I know and have seen up close what makes a top realtor. Without question, Darren has what it takes!!!
